The Galley takes its environmental responsibilities seriously and all our seafood comes from sustainable and well managed fisheries. We purchase all our fish from fish trawlers that are part of the Responsible Fishing Scheme and that are MSC certified. That means that the fish caught are neither endangered nor threatened and that they are fished legally within the required regulations and quotas. Our fish is expertly filleted and cooked fresh every morning.
All our meat is purchased from Nicholson’s Family Butchers in Kilkeel and you can be assured that it is all locally produced.
All our chicken is brought in fresh every day from Lynas Food Service, Coleraine and is prepared and cooked fresh every morning. All our chicken dishes are cooked from 100% pure chicken fillets. We do not use any processed meat or chicken.
All our eggs are purchased locally from Riverlodge Farm, Glassdrumman.
All our Wheaten Bread, Scones, Desserts and Traybakes are all made on the premises by our expert in-house bakers.
